We currently have eight full time engineers and draftsmen on staff. The average experience level of our engineering department is over 17 years and is led by Brian Johnson a Professional Engineer with over 25 years of experience. We utilize the latest CAD software to provide general arrangement drawings, flow diagrams, erection drawings, concrete foundation design, and electrical schematics. We also utilize many software packages including AggFlow to help develop the optimal plant design for your needs.

Optimizing processing facilities requires a lot more than a well designed and maintained plant. Site preparation is a key component to setting the stage for a successful project. Many times projects are designed and budgeted without much thought into what is required to prepare the site for foundations, roads, utilities, drainage, etc… Soil tests, compaction, cut and fill volumes, trenching, critical path activities, time line, resources, and costs must all be considered when developing the site prep plan. Our team has the experience to determine the requirements for each project and develop a site preparation plan along with a timeline and budget.

The proper design and installation of the concrete foundations is a very important component of any plant design. Careful consideration must be made to ensure that the site preparation is done properly. In addition, carefully surveying the existing and planned topography is equally important. TPS has the experience to ensure that the concrete foundations are designed to handle the loads applied by the equipment.

TPS has a vast amount of erection and equipment installation experience. We put an extraordinary amount of effort into ensuring that the engineering and fabrication is right before we ship the equipment to the job site. This extra effort on the front end of the process insures that the equipment fits in the field. This dramatically reduces the cost of equipment rental and labor costs.

Our automation systems are designed by experienced professionals with the highest quality components with emphasis on long-term reliability and ease of use. Our approach is to provide an “Open Architecture” platform which allows the customer to make any changes desired without having to be locked into a particular integrator. This flexibility is important so that you can make future modifications to your control system without having to pay additional licensing fees.

During startup and commissioning TPS provides additional resources to ensure the startup goes as smooth as possible. A successful startup requires a great deal of resources focused on the right things in the right sequence. Only experienced personnel with the knowledge to direct the workforce, including OEM equipment representatives, can assure a smooth startup. TPS schedules all of the resources and assures that all equipment manufacturer warranties are protected and in full force before we leave.
